Sporadic sketching time during the Red Wings game. I kind of like doing that. I think I'm going to make a new tool, sketches during hockey games so I can get some more sketch prectice in instead of just focusing on my pages all the time.

Anyway, here's a study of Michaelangelo from TMNT. Per Anthony's request. I think, based on how this quick sketch turned out, that I'm definitely doing to do a full size one of these, perhaps with all four turtles for FCBD.

Oh, I am definitely going to do a finished piece this was a lot more fun that I thought it was going to be. I had a lot of fun putting my own little twists on him and going with more of a turtle look instead of the standard two toes and two fingers.

I think I might go with the darker version, much like the original Turtles were drawn.

These characters always look cool in any style..just a great idea from the get go...
