I think I might attempt to order a few of them and try them out. According to the local artist, the tip is a brush tip so, in theory, it shouldn't fray.

I looked up some art pens last night, found one for $40 that has a brush tip, and refillable ink cartriges, I dont think it is the same pen though. lol
