Richard Evans is a visionary writer and the founder of Raven Entertainment Studio. He is the Creator of LEGION UNLEASHED, CANADIAN LEGION, BLACK FLAG and is also the Co-Creator of The Midnight Raider.

A.N.A Comics has signed on to bring select properties from Raven Entertainment Studio under our umbrella to aid in the development, oversight, and publication of these properties. We are very excited to share them with you.  Just as we are excited to share with you a brief interview we did with Richard himself about who he is, and where he is going in the wild world of Comic Books:

Anacomics.com: “Richard you are a strong voice, not just for independent comic books but for the industry as a whole.  It’s obvious by reading your posts that you have a lot of passion for creating and seeing quality creations given their shot in the lime light.  So we’re interested, in what exactly you are interested in?”

Richard: “I am interested in anything about revolt, disorder, chaos.  I also find myself especially interested in examining activity that SEEMS to have no meaning.  By looking at more than the surface information, It seems to me to be the road toward “freedom”.  That, or I enjoy a good science book.”

Anacomics.com: “This can at times feel like a rhetorical question, but what are your creative Skills?”

Richard: “All I do is write.  I’m not much good at anything else.  Unless me fostering crazy ideas and giving way to ranting is a skill.”

Anacomics.com: “We know ‘Mums’ the word on your upcoming projects that will be available through A.N.A Comics, but perhaps you could share with us some info on the work you have done?”

Anacomics.com: “You’ve been in the business a while, and worked with a lot of great creators already, do you have any remaining creative goals?”

Richard: “In 2012, I’m hoping to sell a screenplay, first and foremost.  I have focused much of my energy as a writer on that effort recently.  After that, I plan to do what I do best, make some comic books and maybe one day one of those properties will become something that someone will license to make toys of. . .  I would like that.”
